This is the new construction of a community school with classrooms and specialist rooms. The building has a partial basement and two stories. Area specifications: Site area: 9,280.00 sq m - Gross floor area (GFA): Level 0 (ground floor) 1,513.43 sq m - Total GFA: 3,243.10 sq m - Total gross volume (GV): 14,555.95 cu m /// Construction: The building is designed as a reinforced concrete structure with flat slabs, reinforced concrete columns, and shear walls. The building is stiffened by the reinforced concrete walls and floor slabs. The floor slabs are optimized in terms of their structural depth according to their spans. The columns on levels 0 and 1 are designed as composite columns. Wall components in contact with the ground are constructed as watertight concrete (WU) structures. The four-sided perimeter walkway on level 1 is attached to the reinforced concrete facade as a steel structure. The new building rests on a shallow foundation on a gravel base. Edge beams reinforce the heavily loaded edges of the foundation slabs and also serve as frost protection.
