The service to be awarded includes, in particular, the following services: - Daily collection of the client's mail items from the branches of Deutsche Post AG (post office box emptying) and delivery to the offices listed in Appendix 3a, including any premises they may have specified (working days are Monday to Friday, excluding nationwide public holidays and (if the service is provided at the client's location) local holidays and other business-related closing days of the respective post office) - Daily collection of mail items to be sent from the offices listed in Appendix 3a, including any premises they may have specified, for further processing - Postage, transport, and delivery of the mail items collected from the listed offices, including any premises they may have specified, within the legally defined delivery destination, currently Section 18 Paragraph 1 of the Postal Act (PostG) of July 15, 2024. This means that the delivery of the provided mail items must be completed on average within a minimum of 95% of deliveries are to be made on the third working day following collection, and 99% on the fourth working day following collection. Should legal regulations change during the contract period, the delivery target will be adjusted accordingly without the need for further agreements.
