Germany – Rescue services – Vergabe der notärztlichen Versorgung im öffentlichen Rettungsdienst des Kreises Ostholstein

The contract includes the provision of emergency medical services (including secondary transport) 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Burg ambulance station, Bürgermeister-Lafrenz-Str. 3c, 23769 Burg ambulance station. It is planned to relocate the ambulance station to Mummendorfer Weg, 23769 Burg ambulance station (next to the Inselklinik) during the contract period. The ambulance, including paramedics, the medical equipment of the emergency physicians (hereinafter referred to as "EM)," personal protective equipment and clothing, as well as the accommodation of the EMS during their shift, will be provided by the rdh (Regional Rescue Service) or by agents commissioned by the rdh pursuant to Section 5 Paragraph 1 Sentence 2 of the SHRDG (Schleswig-Holstein Rescue Service Act) and are therefore not part of the services owed by the contractor. Note: The EMS physician is not required to be present at the ambulance station for the entire duration of their shift. For example, it is permissible for him to pursue other activities during his emergency medical service shift, provided that he fulfills the obligations to cooperate as outlined in section 4.1.8 of the service description (Appendix 1) and is ready for transport by the emergency physician vehicle at the ambulance station within a maximum of one minute of being alerted.
