The Wuppertal site is being further expanded. As part of the construction project, the top floor (currently the 3rd floor) will be removed. The remaining building will be extended by two new floors (3rd and 4th floors) using a timber frame construction, partly also in cast-in-place concrete. The construction work to be tendered includes roofing and roof sealing work, roof coverings, plumbing work (parapet construction, facade panels, roof penetrations), fall protection for the flat roof, and other services (hourly wage work, maintenance and inspection work). Construction timeline: Vapor barrier installation on concrete sections is expected to begin in calendar week 40 of 2024, work on the timber frame is expected to begin in calendar week 19 of 2025, and completion is expected in calendar week 41 of 2025 (excluding final maintenance of the green roof).
