Germany – Secondary school construction work – Neubau Gesamtschule

The subject of this contract is the complete planning and turnkey construction of a comprehensive school, including a cafeteria/auditorium area to be shared with the adjacent secondary school, along with outdoor facilities and their connection to the transport and technical infrastructure, as well as the demolition of the existing central building and the secondary school cafeteria, by a general contractor based on a functional specification. The school buildings will be erected on land owned by the city of Wesseling. The total floor area to be implemented comprises approximately 17,000 m² of gross floor area (including circulation, technical, and ancillary areas). The available building site covers approximately 14,500 m². The demolition volume of the central building can be estimated at approximately 9,500 m² of gross floor area (built in 1971, solid construction). The demolition volume of the secondary school cafeteria can be estimated at approximately 2,050 m² of gross floor area (built in 2008, solid construction). The estimated order volume amounts to approximately €109 million net. Payment will be made through installment payments and a final payment.
