Germany – Security services – Durchführung von Objektsicherungsaufgaben im JRC Karlsruhe

The Karlsruhe JRC is one of the six scientific sites of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) and is the headquarters of the Scientific Directorate for Nuclear Surveillance and Safety. It is located on the North Campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Karlsruhe, Germany. Within the framework of the JRC's nuclear work program, the Karlsruhe site is dedicated to nuclear surveillance and safety, aiming to establish the scientific basis for protecting European citizens from the risks associated with the handling and storage of high-level radioactive materials. The objective of this tender is the provision of site security services at the Karlsruhe JRC site. The tasks are governed by the applicable regulations and requirements at both European (COMMISSION DECISION (EU, Euratom) 2015/443 of 13 March 2015 on security within the Commission) and national levels (requirements for the security service and security officers in nuclear facilities and installations of security category I).
