The subject of this agreement is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the procurement/delivery of used Microsoft volume software licenses without software assurance, including a German language version, for perpetual use (perpetual license) as pre-owned software licenses for the period December 1, 2025 – November 30, 2029. It is planned to initially award the deliveries/services specified in the price list/price summary (6.3) on behalf of and for the account of Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH, Flemmingstraße 2, 09116 Chemnitz, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Poliklinik gGmbH, Bürgerstraße 33, 09113 Chemnitz. Due to the existing comprehensive Microsoft system infrastructure, products from the manufacturer Microsoft must be offered or procured for compatibility reasons and to meet the requirements of critical infrastructure (KRITIS). Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH is the largest municipal hospital in Eastern Germany and, as a maximum care hospital, part of the critical infrastructure (KRITIS) in the healthcare sector. The group employs approximately 7,000 people. Please bear in mind when preparing your offer and determining terms that Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH is a public contracting authority. Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH, in cooperation with the University of Dresden, operates a human medicine degree program (MEDiC) and is an academic teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Leipzig and the Technical University of Dresden. Both of these institutions have active BMI Select Plus memberships and are therefore eligible to purchase new Microsoft licenses under framework agreement no. 7492930 between Microsoft and the Federal Ministry of the Interior.
