Opportunity Overview

According to the Maritime Tasks Act, the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) is responsible for producing water level and storm surge forecasts. The large amount of necessary data must be analyzed and processed. The Water Level Information System (BSH-FEWS) or DSS FEWS (Flood Early Warning System) consolidates these tasks within the water level forecasting service. The aim of this tender is to procure services for providing software updates, technical support, bug fixes, and operating a test system at the BSH, as well as consulting, further development of all systems, a helpdesk, and a security and availability guarantee.
