Vitos is the largest provider of mental health care in Hesse. The company operates psychiatric, psychosomatic, and forensic psychiatric clinics, as well as psychiatric rehabilitation facilities. Its accompanying psychiatric services are geared towards people with chronic mental illnesses. In addition to its core mission of diagnosing and treating mental illnesses, Vitos also operates a specialized neurological clinic in Weilmünster, an orthopedic clinic in Kassel, and facilities for youth and disability services throughout Hesse. Vitos is a subsidiary of the Hessian State Welfare Association (LWV). The group, headquartered in Kassel, comprises 18 non-profit organizations. 12,200 employees at 115 locations generate annual revenue of one billion euros. They provide inpatient and day-patient treatment to a total of 44,000 patients and deliver 300,000 outpatient treatments annually. The subject of this tender procedure is the conclusion of a framework agreement governing the regular testing of electrical equipment in accordance with DGUV V3. The services are to be provided in accordance with the specifications described in the tender documents. The service will be awarded in lots. During the term of the agreement, individual orders may be placed by the eligible companies and the contracting authority. The direct contracting parties will be Vitos gGmbH and the bidder awarded the contract for the respective lot. The respective eligible company is the direct debtor of the contractor for the services rendered to the eligible companies. The contract has a term of two years. The contracting authority has the right to extend the contract for a further two years if it notifies the contractor of this in writing six months before the contract expires.
