Germany – Various school services – Maßnahme „Nachhilfe, Begleitung, Unterstützung für Auszubildende“ (NaBUfA)

The advertised service aims to provide trainees and eligible individuals with supplementary instruction during dual vocational training to improve their theoretical knowledge. It also includes socio-educational support/intervention to ensure the continuation of their training. The primary goal of this measure is to guarantee the success of the training for participants, including by providing necessary support to improve their performance in school and in their professional lives. This goal is achieved through: • Supplementary instruction to close gaps in theoretical knowledge during training; • Targeted individual preparation for tests, classwork, midterms, final exams, and oral examinations, as well as the development of learning techniques; • Additional German language support for those experiencing difficulties with the German language; • Socio-educational support during training to prevent training dropouts; • Support with personal problems, learning blocks, and exam anxiety. Target group-specific methods for conveying theory must be selected, which can be implemented in small groups or individually. Subject of the service: The service provided in accordance with Section 16f of the German Social Code, Book II (SGB II), is a combination of accompanying, supportive, and stabilizing elements for trainees to ensure the success of their apprenticeship. The program is designed for: Typically, between 30 and a maximum of 40 trainees will participate, although the number of participants may decrease as the contract progresses. The vocational school locations in the Lippe district are Detmold and Lemgo. These vocational school locations also serve as the locations for the training program.
