Vitos is the largest provider of mental health care in Hesse. The company operates psychiatric, psychosomatic, and forensic psychiatric clinics, as well as psychiatric rehabilitation facilities. Its accompanying psychiatric services are geared towards individuals with chronic mental illnesses. In addition to its core mission of diagnosing and treating mental illnesses, Vitos also operates a specialized neurological clinic in Weilmünster, an orthopedic clinic in Kassel, and facilities for youth and disability services throughout Hesse. Vitos is a subsidiary of the Hessian State Welfare Association (LWV). The group, headquartered in Kassel, comprises 17 non-profit organizations. 12,200 employees generate annual revenue of one billion euros across more than 250 facilities at 115 locations. The subject of this tender procedure is the visual, technical, and content-related relaunch of the website www.vitos.de, as well as the implementation of comprehensive analytics tools and server-side tagging on a GDPR-compliant platform (currently, Matomo is used for web analytics). The service also includes comprehensive documentation, the creation of a user manual, and training for Vitos administrators and editors. Furthermore, ongoing technical maintenance, support, and hosting, including further development of the website and all related functional areas, for a period of five years after acceptance are also part of the contract.
