Denmark – Construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture, lodging and restaurants – Byrum, parker og veje i Nivå Bymidte

The contract is called “Urban space, parks and roads in Nivå City Centre”. The scope of the contract is stated in the descriptions, drawings and tender list and includes the establishment of infrastructure, urban space and green wedges for the Nivå City Centre of the Future. The total project area for Nivå City Centre including building sites etc. is approximately 15 hectares, and the area is bounded by Nivåvej to the north, Nivå Station and the railway to the east, Niverødvej to the south and the green connection along the football fields to the west. The contract area contains a number of building and construction projects that are being carried out in parallel with the present contract, including Generationernes Hus (school, library and sports hall) and several private urban development projects owned by, among others, KFI and Core Property Management. Coordination work and interfaces to contracts must therefore be expected. In addition, there are interfaces to DSB Ejendomme and Banedanmark as well as several planned building plots to the south, which are currently owned by Fredensborg Municipality and will eventually be offered in municipal land sales. The contract includes, among other things, earthworks, drainage works, edging and paving works, planting works and fixtures. The work is carried out in one overall contract.
