The Danish Parliament is putting out to competition the operation of the Danish Parliament's Tower Restaurant. The Tower Restaurant is located in a beautiful and distinctive location just below the Christiansborg Tower. The restaurant, which has public access, is approx. 160m2 and has approx. 100 seats. Operations are expected to begin on 1 October 2024. The Tower Restaurant must be a place where the professional approach to the task ensures high-quality meals based on fresh and healthy quality ingredients and with an inviting presentation. The Tower Restaurant must ensure a varied range of food and drinks at prices that can accommodate a wide range of customers. The potential guests will primarily be public guests in the Tower and, to a lesser extent, members and employees of the Danish Parliament. As the Tower Restaurant is part of the Danish Parliament's area, guests to the Tower Restaurant must undergo access control, as special security requirements apply in the Danish Parliament. The lessee must at all times ensure that there are sufficient and qualified staff and management resources in the restaurant to ensure the development of the business, and that the quality and service are top notch. The Folketinget makes the premises available to the lessee for a fixed monthly rental fee. The tower restaurant must generally be open every day, except Mondays, when it is closed.
