Estonia – Electricity

The subject of the public procurement is the purchase of electricity for the buildings of the University of Tartu according to the actual consumption (total supply) under the conditions set out in the procurement documents and the accompanying framework agreement for the period from 01.03.2025 to 28.02.2026 at the stock exchange price, to which the seller's service fee (margin) is added. The electricity sold must be 100% produced from renewable energy sources within the meaning of Section 57 of the Electricity Market Act1. The annual electricity consumption of the buildings of the University of Tartu is approximately 18,500 MWh. The annual consumption volume is assumed and its determination is based on the consumption volumes of the University of Tartu objects (Appendix 1) in the period from 01.12.2023 to 30.11.2024. The bidder who has concluded the framework agreement as a result of the public procurement will buy back the electricity produced by the solar parks of the University of Tartu (shown in Appendix 1) and sold to the grid. The resale volume in 2024 as of 30 November 2024 was 20 MWh. The electricity repurchase margin is agreed in the framework agreement (Appendix 5).
