The City of Helsinki's Urban Environment Department is preparing the procurement of the renovation contract for the Idä Family Centre and Itis Symppis. The project implementation model is a project management contract. The procurement procedure is tentatively planned to be an open procedure. The client reserves the right to use an accelerated procedure in the procurement. The project involves renovating the premises that will be transferred to the ownership of the City of Helsinki at Turunlinnantie 12, Helsinki. The new premises of the Family Centre and Symppis will be located at a traffic junction, making the centres easily and quickly accessible by public transport. The premises will be renovated to be barrier-free, multi-purpose and flexible for conversion. The use of the building is the responsibility of the Social, Health and Rescue Department. The client has started the needs and project planning of the site. The project management contractor is intended to be attached to the project as soon as possible in the development phase to develop plans in cooperation with the client. A separate development phase agreement will be drawn up with the selected project management contractor for the development phase. The design agreements have been signed in the name of the client, but the design will be guided in cooperation with the selected project management contractor so that the goals set by the client for the project are achieved. After the development phase, a final project management contract will be signed.
