The subject of the contract is the storage of the building facilities of the Heraklion Municipal Government (EL.ME.PA.), Rethymno Municipal Government, Anogia Structure Facilities, and Sitia Municipal Government for a period of twelve (12) months. The services provided are classified under the following Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) codes: 79713000-5. The estimated total value of the contract amounts to €503,020.30 excluding 24% VAT (estimated value including VAT: €623,745.17). The initial duration of the contract is set at 12 months from the day following the date of signing the contract. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to unilaterally assign to the contractor additional security services, as mentioned above, in addition to those of the initial contract, at a rate of up to 50% of the budget, totaling €251,510.15 excluding 24% VAT, to cover any extraordinary or additional needs or corresponding time extension of the security services that cannot be foreseen, and with a corresponding extension of the duration of the respective contract for up to six (6) additional months. Before exercising this right, the contractor must be notified in writing by the service a reasonable period of time in advance. The labor cost of the additional work will be calculated based on the contractor's financial offer submitted to the tender and the final decision to award the contract. In the event that, in the justified judgment of the Contracting Authority, the number of Students residing in the Sitia Residence does not meet a satisfactory level, making the contract unnecessary, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract, without any financial burden for I.N.E.D.I.V.I.M.
