Το έργο περιλαμβάνει την κατασκευή Μονάδας Επεξεργασίας Στερεών Αποβλήτων, συνολικής δυναμικότητας 23.914 τόνων Αστικών Σύμμεικτων Αποβλήτων (ΑΣΑ) ανά έτος. Περιλαμβάνει όλες τις αναγκαίες υποδομές και την προμήθεια κινητού εξοπλισμού. Επίσης, περιλαμβάνει την εκπόνηση της μελέτης εφαρμογής, την προμήθεια κινητού εξοπλισμού, τη δοκιμαστική λειτουργία του έργου για 6 μήνε καθώς και την κανονική 6ετή λειτουργία του έργου. Η σύμβαση προβλέπει επιπλέον : α) Δικαίωμα προαίρεσης για επιπλέον έξι (6) έτη λειτουργίας του έργου και β) Δικαίωμα προαίρεσης για εργασίες επέκτασης των εγκαταστάσεων ή/και πρόσθετο εξοπλισμό, σύμφωνα με την Τεχνική περιγραφή και τον Π/Υ, όπως αναλύονται στην Προμελέτη και στα Τεύχη Δημοπράτησης του έργου.
