Public European tender for the specifications for the Maintenance of road pavements on Water Board roads in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden 2026–2029. The reason for this tender is that the current agreement has been terminated by operation of law. To align with the current situation, it is necessary to re-tender the execution of maintenance work on the road pavements of roads and cycle paths owned by Waterschap Rivierenland in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden. The road network consists primarily of local access roads, cycle paths, and regional access roads. The maintenance work per sub-contract mainly consists of: Mechanical removal of asphalt layers; Machine application of asphalt layers using various types of asphalt concrete; Carrying out asphalt repairs; Applying surface treatment (wearing courses); Installing grass concrete tiles; Finishing verges; Provision of equipment and personnel. Miscellaneous additional works Traffic measures WSRL wishes to conclude an agreement with one Bidder, under which contracts may be awarded for a period of three years, with an optional extension of up to one year on a single basis. The effective date of this agreement is 1 January 2026.
