The purpose of the tender is to conclude a single Agreement for the Assignment: Designing and realizing the reinforcement of the IJsselmeer dike (dike section 8-3) and maintaining the Foreshore Solution (excluding the existing dike). At present, it is expected that a maximum duration of 5 years will be assigned for the design and realization of the reinforcement of the IJsselmeer dike. The maintenance period amounts to a period between 5 and 10 years. The Contracting Authority intends to award the Assignment with a specifically balanced design brief and a realization brief (see paragraph 1.3 of the Selection Guidelines). The UAV-GC 2005 conditions apply to the Agreement. The Contracting Authority's starting point is to deviate from the UAV-GC 2005 as little as possible, in accordance with the Proportionality Guide. The intended deviations from the UAV-GC 2005 are listed in paragraph 1.3 of the Selection Guidelines. The Contracting Authority awards the Contract based on the Tender with the Best Price-Quality Ratio. Finally: This project is so interesting to Candidates because: * A sustainable dike landscape is being created. Focused on water safety, with additional attention to ecology, circularity, low-emission execution, and enhanced recreation for cyclists and walkers. * The sustainable dike landscape is being implemented using a Foreshore Solution in a deep lake, which is an innovative concept and will make a significant contribution to ecology. The Foreshore Solution covers a substantial part of the dike reinforcement: approximately 12 of the 17.6 kilometers. * The Contracting Authority intended to enable Selected Candidates to prepare a manageable Tender in terms of time, money, and risks. * The Contracting Authority's project team has a strong intrinsic motivation and drive to make this project a success together with ON.
