Waterschap Rivierenland (WSRL; aanbestedende dienst en opdrachtgever) is voornemens het project Nieuwe Waarden Alblasserwaard (NWA) op 2 juni 2025 te publiceren. Het project Nieuwe Waarden Alblasserwaard (NWA) maakt onderdeel uit van het Gebiedsprogramma A5H (Alblasserwaard en Vijfheerenlanden) en richt zich op een nieuwe evenwichtige indeling van het hoofdwatersysteem van de Alblasserwaard. Deze herinrichting draagt bij aan de missie van Waterschap Rivierenland: zorgen voor veilige dijken en een evenwichtig watersysteem.
