For proper functioning, gullies and gutters must be cleaned regularly. Therefore, the gullies and gutters are cleaned based on frequency. In addition, some specific locations are cleaned more frequently at the direction of the manager. This is the case, for example, around events, when a large amount of extra waste ends up in the gullies and gutters. The work under this framework agreement mainly consists of: • Cleaning of street and sidewalk gullies; • Cleaning of drainage structures such as gutters; • Supporting measures such as traffic measures and barriers. | In various parts of the Municipality of The Hague, a drainage system has been installed to maintain the groundwater level at the correct depth. Drainage has been primarily implemented in Vinex districts such as Wateringseveld, Leidseveen, and Ypenburg. Drainage in the Vinex districts accounts for 90-95% of the total management portfolio within the municipality. Annually, at the request of the client, the drainage pipes must be cleaned one to two times. In addition, minor repair work on the drainage must be carried out.
