Place of execution: Provincial road N290 in Kapellebrug, municipality of Hulst. The N290 Kapellebrug Traverse has reached the end of its structural lifespan and is therefore being completely reconstructed. The new road aims to improve traffic safety and limit disruption without compromising traffic flow. These improvements also make a positive contribution to the quality of life in Kapellebrug. As part of the ‘making work with work’ principle, a section of the sewerage system is also being renovated for the benefit of the municipality of Hulst.
1.5 Description of the assignment
The work mainly consists of 2 parts (two parts 2.2):
Works
Provincial part:
• carrying out earthworks;
• installing pipework;
• carrying out cable and pipeline works;
• breaking up foundations; • breaking up block paving and kerbstones; • breaking up tar-containing and tar-free bituminous pavements; • installing foundations; • carrying out block paving works; • carrying out bituminous paving works; • breaking up and installing markings, signage, and street furniture; • removing and installing green areas; • carrying out various works. Works Municipal section: • breaking up tar-containing and tar-free bituminous pavements; • breaking up foundations; • breaking up and installing piping; • carrying out earthworks; • carrying out dewatering works; • installing piping; • laying foundations; • carrying out block paving works; • carrying out bituminous paving works; • installing green areas; • carrying out various works.
