Opportunity Overview
The Port of Rotterdam Authority (HbR) fleet consists of multiple patrol, survey, and incident response vessels. These are deployed by the Harbour Master division in day, semi-continuous, and continuous shifts for management, inspection, and incident response tasks. In addition, the fleet includes hydrographic survey vessels, a RHIB, and the representative vessel the Nieuwe Maze. On board these vessels are a variety of electrical installations from diverse suppliers and manufacturers. These installations require maintenance. The current agreement expires on December 31, 2025. With this project, HbR is launching a new framework agreement for the maintenance of the electrical installations of its fleet. The maintenance can be subdivided into the following types:
- Preventive maintenance: Planned maintenance of the installations based on inspection checklists, making it predictable.
- Corrective maintenance: Unplanned follow-up actions resulting from preventive maintenance.
- Repairing damage.
- Replacement maintenance: Replacing or converting parts or entire installations.
- Providing services: advice regarding lifespan, sustainability, digitalization, and electric propulsion.
- Preventive maintenance: Planned maintenance of the installations based on inspection checklists, making it predictable.
- Corrective maintenance: Unplanned follow-up actions resulting from preventive maintenance.
