Norway – Construction work – BUILDINGS AND INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE BIOGAS FACILITY AT VOSS

BIR AS shall establish a new biogas facility at Bjørkemoen in Voss. This turnkey contract includes construction and infrastructure for a biogas facility. The process part of the plant has been awarded to Biovoima Oy after a competition carried out in accordance with the regulations for the Public Procurement Regulations. The turnkey contractor for building and infrastructure will have the coordination responsibility for the turnkey contract signed with Biovoima Oy. A more detailed description of this is in Part 2 - The contract documentation and associated annexes. The biogas facility is planned to be a central element of a future biopark at this location. Bioparken shall facilitate different treatment systems for bio-waste and recycle waste where possible. The biogas facility is the first part of the biopark at Bjørkemoen. A situation may arise where there will be a parallel development on the site by other contractors. The project has an estimated limit of approx. NOK 100 million.
