Norway – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Lot - Living conditions outsourced areas and outsiders - what do we know about the situation, what measures work?

Whether we can see characteristics of parallel communities in vulnerable residential areas is a topic that has received a lot of attention both in politics and research in recent years in Norway and in our neighbourhoods. This is reflected in the research literature, in reviews, parliamentary reports and action plans. There is a need for knowledge summary with particular focus on effective measures to prevent and manage the development and maintenance of parallel communities for use in IMDis and other actors' efforts to promote integration and prevent outsiders. The aim is also to gain knowledge on sub-lit topics and problems, as regards further research in the field.
