Norway – Risk or hazard assessment other than for construction – Web-based security risk assessment system

Norad's employees travel to various countries around the world in connection with field visits to developing countries, international conferences, and various partnership projects. Norad's need is to mitigate risks in security for employees abroad by obtaining access to information and assessments that can support Norad to take informed decisions concerning security in connection with the travels. The aim is also to enhance employees' ability to assess travel security, as well as to have a tool which can assist in evaluating and addressing important safety aspects related to their travels. The goal is for employees to better reflect on their personal safety while travelling to their destination, thanks in part to the use of the tool. The objective of the procurement is to have a continuous, user friendly (low threshold) and web-based access to a broad range of reliable information on risk assessments in order to make informed decisions regarding travels to different countries/regions.
