Poland – Refuse and waste related services – Odbieranie i zagospodarowanie stałych odpadów komunalnych z terenu Gminy Kowalewo Pomorskie w 2026 roku

1. The subject of the contract covers the collection and management of solid municipal waste from the area of the Kowalewo Pomorskie Commune from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. The scope of the contract applies to residential and uninhabited properties within the Commune. The service should be performed in a manner that ensures achievement of appropriate levels: preparation for reuse and recycling of municipal waste, as well as reduction of the mass of biodegradable waste sent for landfill and landfill levels in accordance with the provisions of the Act of September 13, 1996 on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 733, as amended). 2. The service will be implemented in accordance with applicable local law issued on the basis of the provisions of the aforementioned Act, including, among others, with the Regulations on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in the Commune and the Resolution regarding the detailed method and scope of providing services in the scope of municipal waste collection from property owners from the area of the Kowalewo Pomorskie Commune and management of this waste in exchange for a municipal waste management fee paid by residents. The Ordering Party reserves the right to amend the aforementioned resolutions to the extent necessary to adapt their provisions to applicable law. 3. General characteristics of the Kowalewo Pomorskie Commune in the context of waste collection and management: 1) the area of the Kowalewo Pomorskie Commune is 14,139 ha; 2) the number of residents registered for permanent and temporary residence in the commune as of June 30, 2025 is 11,130; 3) The commune includes 24 villages and 2 estates; 4) Within the Kowalewo Pomorskie Commune, there are approximately 2,850 municipal waste collection points (approximately 2,700 properties), as well as 6 cemeteries and approximately 240 allotment gardens. 4.
