The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from owners of residential properties, uninhabited properties containing summer cottages, and other properties used for recreational and leisure purposes located within the Wielowieś Commune. By residential properties, the Contracting Authority understands: properties inhabited by residents and properties referred to in Article 6j, Section 4 of the Act of September 13, 1996, on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities. The Contractor will be obligated to transfer collected unsorted (mixed) municipal waste to a municipal waste disposal system. Pursuant to Article 6d, Section 4, Item 5 of the Act on Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in Municipalities, the Contractor is obligated to indicate in its bid the waste disposal system to which it will transfer municipal waste collected from property owners. The contractor will be obligated to transfer separately collected municipal waste received from PSZOKs and property owners, directly or through another waste collector, to a waste recovery or disposal facility, in accordance with the waste management hierarchy referred to in Article 17 of the Act of December 14, 2012, on Waste. Waste transfer should be confirmed with a waste transfer card prepared in accordance with applicable regulations. General characteristics of the Wielowieś Commune in the context of waste collection and management: Estimated number of residential properties (single-family and multi-family housing): After analyzing submitted declarations and properties for which declarations were not submitted, it is expected that waste from approximately 4,950 people from 1,504 properties will be collected under this contract. These numbers may change slightly during contract implementation.
