TEIUS CITY, Alba County is the beneficiary of the project entitled <REFORM AND DIGITALIZATION AT THE LEVEL OF THE CITY OF TEIUS> which aims to implement ICT and ITS infrastructure in Teius City, Alba County. The non-reimbursable financing granted under this project is carried out through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Component 10 - Local Fund, I1.2 Ensuring infrastructure for green transport - ITS / other ICT infrastructures (intelligent urban/local management systems). The investment is part of component C10 of the PNRR, respectively Green urban mobility - ensuring green transport infrastructure - ITS / other ICT measures. The related financing ensures the operationalization of the measures from the new National Road Safety Strategy, namely the distinct treatment of automatic systems: the system for detecting and sanctioning deviations and a traffic monitoring system, allowing video monitoring, data collection (e.g. establishing traffic flows), traffic fluency, etc. Also, by supporting the implementation of ITS systems, a major contribution is made to increasing road safety, including through the automatic detection of traffic violations. In relation to technological evolution, other types of ICT infrastructures will be implemented that can contribute to the implementation of the Smart city / Smart village concept, in relation to the development of technologies (in accordance with the field of intervention - Development of highly specialized services and support structures for public administrations and enterprises). Following the acquisition of the ITS system (Intelligent Transport Systems / intelligent transport systems), the following benefits are anticipated: - intelligent transport systems and investments in these areas; - safety of citizens in traffic and increased road safety; - fluidization of traffic, reduction of travel time and decongestion of traffic; - permanent information of traffic participants; - reduction of greenhouse gas...
