Romania – Drinking-water treatment plant construction work

The works contract TR-CL-11 – Rehabilitation and expansion of the capture and treatment facilities within the Rosiorii de Vede water supply system consists of the following works: 1. Rehabilitation of the Vedea capture front 2. Rehabilitation of the Maldaeni front supply pipe 3. Extension of the Rosiorii de Vede treatment station equipped with the following technological objects: • Pre-oxidation (iron and manganese oxidation) • Filter station (for retaining precipitates formed by the oxidation of iron and manganese) • Ammonium removal (by chlorination at break-point) • Adsorption with granular activated carbon • Removal of arsenic, nitrites, nickel, lead, antimony, selenium, boron (by reverse osmosis) • PH correction installation • Final disinfection – existing • Intermediate pumping station • Chlorination station • Wastewater retention basin • Water treatment hall • On-line monitoring of water quality parameters • SCADA system The treatment plant will be designed for a maximum daily flow of 6108 m3/day. The contract for the design and execution of works for the objective "Rehabilitation and expansion of the capture and treatment facilities within the Rosiorii de Vede water supply system" includes: a) Design activities - Technical Execution Project, which will include all the necessary documents according to the legislation and any documentation necessary to obtain permits and authorizations; support for the Beneficiary in obtaining the necessary permits and authorizations; b) Construction works; c) Supply and installation of machinery and technological equipment; d) Testing and commissioning; e) Training of the Beneficiary's personnel. f) Remedy of any defects that may occur during the Warranty Period. g) During the execution of the works, the contractor will also provide technical assistance from the designer, with all the legal attributions that fall to him for this purpose.
