The activities of the sanitation service, which are the subject of the delegation, are: (1) sorting of paper, cardboard, metal, plastic and glass waste collected separately from municipal waste in sorting stations, including the transport of the residues resulting from sorting to landfills and/or energy recovery facilities (Galați county, excluding Galați municipality), in the sorting station at Valea Mărului; (2) disposal, by storage, of residual waste, street waste, soil and stone waste from public roads, residues resulting from municipal waste treatment facilities, as well as waste that cannot be recovered from interior and/or exterior renovation and rehabilitation activities of homes at non-hazardous waste landfills. The categories of waste that are the subject of the delegation contract are: At the sorting station: (1) recyclable household waste, similar waste and waste from markets, respectively the recyclable waste fractions (paper, cardboard, plastic, metals, glass); At the Landfill: (2) Inert street waste (3) Residues and digestate from mechanical dehydration and drying of residual waste resulting from TMB and DCDs from the delegation area including the municipality of Galați (starting with the operationalization of the TMB Galați facility); (4) Residual waste from collection area 1 (except for the municipality of Galați) and from the Tecuci and Tg. Bujor Transfer Stations, residues resulting from the sorting activity in the Valea Mărului Sorting Station and DCDs from the delegation area, excluding the municipality of Galați (until the operationalization of the TMB Galați facility). The sanitation service operator will provide the services detailed in the Specifications, included in the award documentation.
