On behalf of the Swedish Marine and Water Management Agency, the Västerbotten County Administrative Board has commissioned the construction of a web-based analysis platform that can analyze the amount of vegetation and various bottom characteristics from Sentinel-2 satellite images. The platform is implemented on a server at RISE in Luleå and is freely available to various users. The platform has been in operation for several years. Therefore, certain updates to the platform are needed to ensure safe operation. Other parts will also be updated and upgraded. AI components will be updated as a result of recent years' improvements in the area. An automation part will be added to facilitate the analysis process. Other improvements will be implemented as a result of views and comments from users of the platform. This is to improve functionality and user-friendliness. The County Administrative Board is purchasing technical support to develop and improve the existing analysis platform.
