The agreement concerns products for municipal healthcare for the municipalities of Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Gagnef, Hedemora, Ludvika and Säters. The agreement aims to meet needs within nursing administration, healthcare, school healthcare and to some extent the municipalities' education system. The agreement shall not be used for the purchase of items that are to be prescribed by another principal as this is found in regional agreements. To some extent, such or equivalent contract objects occur within this agreement, which is due to the fact that the prescription of such items in some cases also occurs within municipal operations. Prescription products such as urological and incontinence materials are procured in a separate regional agreement. The same applies to nutrition. The agreement is a dynamic agreement within which continuous work on product optimization shall take place. Items that have not been used with a certain frequency may be removed from the agreement. If new needs arise, items may be added. For the work, there is a reference group consisting of expert representatives from the various municipalities whose mission is to make the assessments prior to changes to the shopping basket. For the optimization work, the Supplier requires a dedicated contact person/function with high availability and good service capabilities with expertise for the work.
