Sweden – Taxi services – Riksfärdtjänst

The agreement covers two services; booking of national transport services and distribution of travel within another municipality (RIAK). The first service covers booking of national transport services between municipalities for persons who have been granted permission to travel with national transport services according to the National Transport Services Act, 1997:735. The journeys are made within Sweden, from one municipality to another municipality. National transport services are normally carried out by public transport, for example, air, train, bus, boat or taxi/special vehicle/flatbed transport. The journeys can also be a combination of the above-mentioned means of transport. The permit can also include an accompanying person. Co-travellers can also be present. For taxi journeys, the regular fare shall be applied minus the seller's discount. The second service involves providing a web service where the buyer can order travel in another municipality, so-called RIAK, with coverage in all municipalities in Sweden. It is assumed that the ordering center (BC) has agreements with ground transport companies during the agreement period so that journeys can be carried out in all municipalities in Sweden. The tickets are distributed from the seller to the traveller.
