Sweden – Water meters – Fjärravlästa vattenmätare

Lidingö City, the city management office, has been assigned to procure a framework agreement regarding remotely read water meters for Lidingö City (the city). The city is looking for a comprehensive solution where one (1) supplier can deliver the entire chain from replacing water meters with an associated analysis tool. By implementing remotely read water meters, the city wants to offer the municipality's citizens a more reliable and convenient service. Customers will avoid manual readings and instead have access to current data about their water consumption. This increases transparency and makes it easier for customers to monitor and manage their water use, which in turn leads to increased customer satisfaction. Water is an important resource for ecosystem services and an attractive municipality. Reduced water consumption also reduces energy consumption and the costs of the purification process, which has a positive impact on tariffs. The contract period is five (5) years with the right for the city to extend the contract one or more times on unchanged terms for up to a maximum of sixty (60) months.
