• The Tajikistan Municipal Infrastructure Development Project Management Unit, acting on behalf of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services, the project's implementing agency, has received financing from the World Bank for the Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Project ( WSIP -1). The additional financing ( AF ) provides for the expansion and modernization of water supply services in priority settlements in the Vakhsh, Vose , Balkhi , and Dusti districts, as well as support for the institutional development of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services. Part of the financing will be used to pay for contracts for the construction and modernization of water supply distribution networks.
• The Project Management Center for the Development of Municipal Infrastructure in the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following Lots:

• Lot 1. Construction of water mains after NRR and distribution networks in the Balkhi region .
• Lot 2. Expansion of the water supply system in 14 villages of the Vakhsh district (3D) – jamoat territory Tozhikobo d.
• Lot 3. Expansion of the water supply system in the village of Kaduchi Vosesky district.
