Transport for Primary Swimming Lessons - Expression of Interest (EOI)

Milton Keynes City Council’s Leisure and Sports Partnership Department delivers an inclusive school swimming programme for primary school pupils in Years 3 to 6, enabling schools to meet their statutory curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety education.
The programme operates as a comprehensive, centrally coordinated service. All swimming pools, appropriately qualified instructors, and transport arrangements are organised by the School Swimming Programme Coordinator, providing schools with a single point of contact and streamlined delivery model.
A key component of the service is the provision of reliable and safe transport. Transport providers are required to collect pupils and accompanying school staff from their respective schools, convey them to the designated swimming facility, and return them to school following the completion of each session. All participating schools and swimming pools are located within the Milton Keynes area.
