Synopsis:
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Bastrop intends to solicit this action as 100% Small Business, (firm-fixed-price) supply contract to purchase hot water tanks.

The statutory authority for this 100% Small Business set aside solicitation directly to suppliers is the RFO FAR 19.104-1(a) (1) and RFO FAR 12.201-1(2).  
A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED
The Government intends to proceed with this 100% Small Business set aside set aside direct solicitation to suppliers. The NAICS code 332410  - Power Boiler and Heat Exchanger Manufacturing.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS
A determination by the Government not to solicit this action on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) is solely within the discretion of the Government, IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(2). Electronic responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the contracting point of contact listed below.
Federal Bureau of Prisons is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
