This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.� Solicitation number 36C10X26R0054 is issued for this combined synopsis/solicitation; this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01, dated 13 March 2026.� Requirement Description:� VA has a requirement to purchase the Medtronic EndoFLIP 300 system and related accessories and to deliver the same to its VA Medical Centers around the country. The EndoFLIP 300 provides real-time measurements of the pressure and dimensions of the esophagus during endoscopic evaluation and surgical procedures through Impedance Planimetry. Impedance Planimetry is described as a catheter-mounted, balloon-covered probe placed during a regular endoscopy using sedation and inflated to prespecified pressures. During inflation, pressure sensors along the balloon measure intraluminal pressure and cross-sectional areas within a gastrointestinal lumen or sphincter. The measurements are used to calculate a distensibility index (mm2/mm Hg) or compliance of the evaluated area. A single award, Brand Name Only Requirements contract will be awarded for Medtronic EndoFLIP accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedule of this solicitation herein.
