To be considered equal the boot must meet the following specifications:

* Plastic Outer Shell (must be 100% waterproof)

* Removable High Altitude Liner

* Fully Rigid Platform & Automatic Crampon Compatibility

* Modern alpine climbing sole and high-altitude liner
