DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) W912QR26RA062 for the Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) of a single-story Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in Burlington, New Jersey. The AMSA includes approximately 21,644 square feet of usable administrative and maintenance space. The project scope includes the repair of the failing HVAC and electrical systems, the removal of non-structural interior walls to right-size rooms and create open flexible workspaces as required, the repair/replacement/upgrade of light fixtures with code compliant units, the installation of a code compliant fire alarm and suppression system, and the repair of electrical conduit distribution throughout the facility. The project also repairs the exterior structural elements, replaces the failing standing seam metal roof, and corrects all life safety deficiencies while maintaining the elements of the building's exterior. The restored facility will meet minimum DOD Antiterrorism standards. All hazardous materials (HAZMAT) removed as part of the demolition will be disposed of following all state and federal guidelines.    

The Contract Duration is one thousand ninety-five (1,095) calendar days from Contract Notice to Proceed.

TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This RFP will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.

TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be a 100%Total Small Business Set-Aside. 

SELECTION PROCESS: This will be a two-phase Design/Build procurement process. The proposals will be evaluated using a Best Value Tradeoff source selection process.
