The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá-Colombia intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order for the supply of Maintenance & training services on ADANI scanners. For this requirement, an ADANI brand-certified vendor is required to ensure compatibility with existing proprietary technology currently installed in four Colombian international airports. This certification is also required to maintain existing equipment warranty, perform system upgrades and corrective maintenance, and ensure proper functioning. No other supplies or services will accomplish Embassy Bogota requirements. This procurement action is being conducted in accordance with the statutory authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, which states that only one brand-name and no other will satisfy Embassy Bogota requirements.
