Project Number: 558-22-172--Replace Chillers for AHU 1 and 2 replaces the aging auxiliary chillers for air handler units 1 and 2, and all associated equipment identified in design for replacement or upgrade. The project intends to replace the physical control devices on the air handling units and the roof-mounted chilled water system serving the air handling units 1 and 2. The work required will be related to chillers, pumps, glycol make-up and auxiliaries, energy management controls, and electrical work. The new physical devices must conform to VA Specification 23 09 23 and be integrated into the controllers.

This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In accordance with Public Law 109-461 and VAAR 819.7003 (b), bidders must be registered and certified in the Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at (https://veterans.certify.sba.gov) as a SDVOSB. Only bids from certified SDVOSBs in the VetCert database at the time of bid submission shall be deemed responsive. All non-responsive bids shall be rejected and ineligible for award.
Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and award a single, firm fixed-price contract. Solicitation material will be available on/about May 12, 2025. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) Contract Opportunities website (https://sam.gov/opportunities). The Contract Opportunities website is the only official location to obtain solicitation information and documents. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Only one site visit will be scheduled. Location and point(s) of contact for the site visit will be identified in the solicitation.
