Amendment 1 Reopening of Solicitation: The solicitation is hereby reopened. Offerors may submit new or revised quotations. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240BH26Q0063 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Lava Lands Pump Replacement & Well Survey. The Forest Service requires services to inspect, clean, rehabilitate, and restore the Lava Lands Visitor Center (LLVC) potable water well, a public drinking?water supply source. The LLVC well is producing persistent sediment that is damaging plumbing fixtures, increasing reactive maintenance needs, and reducing system reliability. The existing 20 HP pump and associated equipment have surpassed typical service life and require replacement. The Contractor shall perform a video well survey, conduct well cleaning and rehabilitation, diagnose sediment issues, and replace the well pump and any related components necessary to return the system to reliable operation. The objective is to restore clean, dependable potable water service, protect LLVC infrastructure, and reduce maintenance demands. All work must be performed by a licensed water?supply well constructor in accordance with Oregon Health Authority regulations and Oregon Administrative Rules.
