Opportunity Overview

Amendment 1 is to include a Question and Answer section in Section L - Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors or Quoters. This procurement is for the refurbishment of eight (8) used Government owned anchor bars assemblies recently removed from Lock and Dam 9. The anchor bar assemblies range in age from 30-90 years old, are in poor physical condition, and feature seized components due to a historic lack of articulation and lubrication. The contractor shall disassemble the anchor bar assemblies (as matched sets), clean/degrease all surfaces, perform non-destructive testing (NDT), inspect all components, blast/paint exposed surfaces, apply anti-corrosive treatments, and reassemble the units to tolerances.
