Opportunity Overview
The U.S. Embassy in Ankara has a requirement for a qualified contractor to repair and restore approximately 25 linear meters of existing exterior concrete walkway at the Deputy Chief of Mission Residence (DCMR), including removal of deteriorated concrete, surface preparation, concrete repair or replacement, finishing, curing, protection, cleanup, and related incidental work necessary to provide a complete and durable repair.
The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm-fixed-price construction requirement using FAR Part 13 procedures and applicable FAR Part 36 provisions. No quotation shall be submitted in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to the RFQ when it is issued; all timely quotations received in accordance with the RFQ will be considered by the Government. The RFQ will state the quotation due date, performance schedule, evaluation factors, site access requirements, and all applicable terms and conditions.
The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price contract or purchase order to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforms to the RFQ and is lowest priced technically acceptable. The Government may make award based on initial quotations without requesting quotation revisions.
The Government anticipates conducting a site visit. The RFQ will provide the date, time, attendance procedures, security requirements, and other access instructions. Access to the residence will be limited to authorized participants and coordinated by the Embassy.
