Opportunity Overview
The American Embassy in Canberra has a requirement for the renovation of a U.S. Government owned
residential property (GOP). The purpose of this project is to undertake the rehabilitation of the bathroom, toilet, and powder room
areas, including associated drainage and plumbing systems, in order to address identified deficiencies, rectify end-of-life building services, and restore the wet areas to current functional, safety, and building standards.
The scope includes the replacement of deteriorated finishes, fixtures, and infrastructure, as well as the upgrade of sub-surface drainage and slab elements where required due to existing failures. The works are intended to improve water tightness, drainage performance, durability, and overall usability of the wet areas. This project does not include structural modifications to the dwelling
or changes to the overall building layout, except where alterations are required to accommodate new services, drainage upgrades, or fixture replacement
