USMMA Purchase - Virtual Reality Welding System

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6923G226Q000046 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an VR Welding System at the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The scope of work includes a contractor delivering all component to the Engineering Department at the USMMA in accordance to the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. All responsible small business sources may submit a response, which, if received in a timely manner, will be considered by the agency. Offers received from firms that are not small business concerns will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected in accordance with FAR 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside, which applies to this solicitation.
