This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.

This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24226B0058 Project Number 632-23-102 for the Replace Roof Building 92 at the Northport VA Medical Center located on 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768.

This project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in SBA s Small Business Search and https://www.sam.gov.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard: $45million. IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VIP listed SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor will not pay more than 85% of the amount paid by the government to the prime for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to firms that are not VIP-listed SDVOBs. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

SCOPE OF WORK:

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 2, Northport VA Medical Center, is seeking highly qualified construction firms to perform a full roof replacement and associated exterior envelope work for Building 92, a single story Community Living Center that remains fully occupied throughout construction. All work shall be conducted in a manner that minimizes disruption to occupants and always maintains safe access.
