REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST The Republic of Uzbekistan received a loan from the World Bank for the financing of the project "Rural Infrastructure Development" project, and intends to use part of the funds for hiring consulting firm (hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant") to provide the following services: Consulting services for baseline project monitoring survey The Consultant will assist the Joint Project Implementing Unit in data collection and analysis for the Baseline Monitoring Survey of abovementioned project. The survey will be utilized to assess project progress and results against the targets set forth in the RIDP's results framework. The organization contracting for this task is the Joint Project Implementing Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"). The project covers five regions: Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Ferghana, Namangan, Andijan and Tashkent region. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services, including: (1) at least 5 years of experience in conducting comparable large-scale surveys in Uzbekistan (at least five surveys with at least 2,000 respondents, using Computer-Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) system, including data analysis; (2) Demonstrated experience of collecting research data in Uzbekistan on the provision of Infrastructure Development, including local services, such as: water supply, sanitation, and hygiene as well as electricity; knowledge or...
